What are we looking for?
As a Spot Buyer your main responsibility will be to support implementation of sourcing process for Indirect Sourcing.
What will your job be about?
• conduct Opportunity analysis for spend management
• conduct Sourcing process including RFI, RFP, price and contract negotiation
• build on existing knowledge of external best practices
• interact with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers
• will be required to reach out to different stake holders, gather information and even challenge stakeholders
• find innovative ways to simplify the reports and utilize time to identify newer ways to analyze the sourcing issues
• provide continuous improvement in processes using LEAN or six-sigma methods
• perform Spend analysis to support Category Management Process via any/all analytical tools and work towards standardization
• prepare compliance reports required by the organization for review & circulation
• ensure all transactions/activities are compliant with policies and procedures
• offer analytical insights along with data skills and flare for technology
Desired Skills and Experience
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in a sourcing role preferably with indirect services experience
• 1+ years of relevant work experience in project management role
• business knowledge and day to day understanding Sourcing and Procurement activities
• good communication and analytical skills
• data analytics skills
• strong customer centric focus, relationship management with key stakeholders, persuasive, negotiating, proactive and can do attitude a must
• good command of English
• good command of MS Office Tools
• knowledge of SAP BW is not required, but a plus
