This team has the overall responsibility for the complete Metro POS System Architecture in 28 countries.
Your main responsibilities will be:
•System architecture design
•Development of software tools for deployment, monitoring, automation, driver integration
•Software Packaging and distribution (Microsoft SCCM, Tivoli)
•EAN codes configuration
Knowledge & Skills:
•Scripting / programming (VB Script, C#, JavaScript, SQL, .NET, Power Shell)
•Firm knowledge in network technologies (TCP/IP / DHCP / DNS / PXE / TFTP)
•Advance knowledge of MS Windows operating systems. Experience with MS Windows Posready7 would be an advantage
•Experience in POS Peripherals Hardware (scanners, printers, EFT systems, OPOS, configuration)
•Unattended software installation and automation scripting
•Experience working in a DevOps model.
•Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
•International project experience/ cultural awareness
•Ability to structure new / unknown topics
•High competence to solve problems
•Ability to interpret complex information
•Ability to work under stress with defined deadlines.
•Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
