The IT Department of UBISOFT is looking for a Technical Expert specialized in Hyperion Planning/Essbase, to work on internal projects for the financial teams of Ubisoft worldwide.
You will work closely with the Project Manager of the BI Budgeting & Consolidation domain, and be the key expert on the integration projects and on the evolution of Hyperion Planning/Essbase applications.
Your tasks
Analyze, quantify and formalize development requests for Hyperion application
Identify and develop technical solutions:
Write technical specifications according to the functional specifications
Provide the technical solution best suited to customer needs and in compliance with Group guidelines (CMM2 Certification)
Responsible for development and corresponding technical tests
Act as an expert on complex cases alongside the User Support team
Provide training for newcomers in the BI Budgeting & Consolidation domain and in the User Support team
Ensure regular monitoring for emerging IT technologies in order to be in the forefront of BI solutions innovations
Your profile
Essential skills
University diploma in an IT related field
Proven experience of at least 4 – 5 years as a technical expert on Hyperion applications
Good knowledge of Finance concepts, especially in areas like Consolidation, Budgeting and Forecasting
Knowledge of Datawarehouse concepts and of the SQL developing language would be a plus
Very good knowledge of Hyperion EPM 11 tools (11.1.2 version is a plus) is required

Essbase (EAS, HBR, Calculation Scripts, DLR, mxls)
Financial Reporting
Add IN Excel / Smartview
Ideally: HFM (settings and rules), knowledge of management tools for the technical platform Hyperion EPM11, Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDQM)
