You will be member of a global team providing support to our customers on our products. You will support companies across Europe to implement enterprise processes of the future. The PTC Product Development System delivers for all companies that have complex and variable products, on an integral, web-based architecture.
You will participate in recruiting activities, to ensure proper coverage of all technical areas.
You will participate in training and certification of group members in PTC software.
You will provide technical and procedural direction to group members, as well as performance evaluation, career and competency development opportunities.
You will assist in managing workloads and escalations of group members.
The general goal of the job is to achieve and maintain a high level of PTC customer satisfaction by ensuring your group of engineers provides superior technical support.
Basic tasks:
- support the development of our Technical Support activities in Easters Europe in close collaboration with experienced PTC Senior Managers
- management of a team of technical support engineers according to our ISO 9001 Customer Service Procedures and Work Instructions
- realization and continuous improvement of our internal processes (ISO 9001)
- bachelor degree in engineering, computer science, software or IT related disciplines
- 2-3 years of industry experience in the relevant areas or in a similar position
- know-how in IT operations/ IT project management
- people management experience; organizational skills
- presentation skills, team attitude

- excellent communication and collaboration skills
- high dedication during times of increased workload
- a methodical, organized, autonomous way of working
- excellent IT skills (Windows, UNIX, Web-technologies, Java, Tomcat, LDAP, Oracle, Scripting, etc)
- strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide creative solutions
- ATTENTION:language requirements - fluency in English-French/ English-German; additional languages are a big plus
Ideal knowledge:
- typsetting terms and publishing software (like Arbortext)
- experience with PTC applications (Windchill or ProE) and/ or experience in other PDM/CAD systems - Enovia, SmartTeam, TeamCenter, Catia, UG
