As a part of the development team, based as a Test Engineer/ Developer you are continuously involved in implementing, upgrading and refining the test automation solution layer including test framework upgrade and automation tools development.
You must stay in permanent contact with the business analyst, development team and QA team.
You are involved in the process of maintaining and upgrading the delivery automation solution and tracking.
Knowledge & Skills:
Education: University degree in a technical field
Professional experience:
At least 2 years of manual testing experience;
At least 1 year of hands-on test automation experience ( Functional / Black-Box / Data Driven testing experience would be a plus);
C# or VB.Net;
Knowledge of at least one scripting language: JavaScript, VBScript;
T-SQL knowledge & ASP .Net is required;
Ajax knowledge would be a plus;
Test automation script development using a proprietary automation tool;
Gathering and staging Use Cases;
Create Test Cases (both manual and for automation scripts);
Optimize current test automation solution;
Actively involved in Test Plan development, automation documentation and process improvement;
Identify, develop and test additional business needs for a more complete solution;
Understand software design specifications (technical specifications / functional specifications), as well as specific product requirements for each country;
Solution and action orientation;
Good communication skills, ability to work with teams from different locations;
Strong organization, time management and task prioritization skills;
Fluency in English, both speaking and writing.
