ob Purpose:
As part of the ETCS (European Train Control System) test team you will have the opportunity to work with experts from Germany (Stuttgart, Berlin) in a very dynamic and complex environment; you will also be responsible for testing the ETCS Level2 software products like Radio Block Centre and On Board System.
Job summary:
Test of complex and safety-critical application software for the railway field, including:
� Specification of Test Cases on Requirements basis
� Implementation of Test Cases for unit test and subsystem test. Writing of test programs and test data
� Automation of Test Cases
� Execution of automated tests
� Support of test environments, tools and simulation
� Evaluation of the test output (coverage, traceability, progress)
� Test documentation
� Regular test reporting
The tests will be performed in close co-operation with experts from Thales Germany.
Professional competencies
Education:
� Technical study of computer science, transportation, mathematics, physics, cybernetics or similar
Requested technical competencies:
� Ability to understand and interpret product specifications
� Knowledge of computer networks fundamentals
� Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
� Basic knowledge of Linux
Would be a plus:
� Script Languages (Shell utilities - perl, awk, sed)
� Programming: Java / C/ C++, Ruby, Groovy, XML
� Knowledge of ClearQuest, Doors, Version Control Software
� Experience in Railway Business
� Testing of complex software systems under usage of technical means like simulators and scripting languages

� Flexibility and availability to travel abroad from time to time
Languages:
� Fluency in English
� German is a plus
