Responsible for testing system requirements to ensure proper functionality.
• Testing Experience:
- Understands software testing concepts and processes;
- Experience with bug reporting tools;
- Experience with Agile methodology can be an advantage;
• Experience with Unix OS's (Linux, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris) hands-on (including volume/disk management, user management, SAN/multipath configuration);
• Perl scripting experience;
• Experience with Object Oriented programming (Java, C++);
• Test Automation experience: Developing and maintaining automated tests;
• Database Experience: (Oracle / DB2);
• Fluency in English, written and spoken;
• Storage Basic Knowledge (eg regarding SVC, XIV, NetApp, DSxk, NAS);
• Experience with administration and usage of VMware vSphere;
Soft Skills:
• Analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details;
• Testing interpretation skills: able to pin point the root causes, identify defects/bugs and circumstances in which they appear, able to generalize and particularize situations;
• Opened to learn new tools and technologies.
