A. For Finishing Department:
1. Shall be responsible to handle the activities of one shift ( 3 shift working and the person will rotate in shifts )
2. To do the planning and / or to follow the planning of production in a shift
3. To control the activities of the operatives of the shift and to get the work done by them.
4. Candidate must have some clear idea about the textile finishing processes like desizing, mercerizing, thermofixation, sanforizing, fabric overdyeing, Coating etc.
5. To check all the parameters of the machine and to adjust according to the need of the product.
6. To do some chemical analysis like measuring pH of the fabric, hardness of water, to do titration to ensure the strength of a chemical etc.
7. Will be responsible for the quality of the fabric processed in his/ her shift.
8. To coordinate with maintenance department by providing information/ feedback for any machine abnormality or breakdown to get it solved.
9. To check the stock and consumption of chemicals.
10. To check and verify the parameters of the processed fabric according to the standard parameter.
11. To supervise the chemical preparation by the operatives and to supervise all other activities of the department.
12. To obey and respect the instructions of the superiors.
B. For Dyeing Department
a. Shall be responsible to handle the activities of one shift ( 3 shift working and the person will rotate in shifts )
b. To do the planning and / or to follow the planning of production in a shift.
c. To control the activities of the operatives of the shift and to get the work done by them.
d. Will be responsible for warping and dyeing. So must have knowledge about dyestuffs, chemicals, auxiliaries and their application methods. Also must have clear idea about yarns and its numbering system
e. Will be responsible for controlling the dye bath parameters to achieve and maintain consistent shade as per standard.
f. Shall have to do titrations of different solution by sophisticated auto titrator and spectro photometer ( training will be provided )
g. To do the control of incoming chemicals as and when required
h. To check the chemical stock and consumption and to keep record
i. To make the production reports
j. To supervise the color/chemical preparation by the operatives and to supervise all other activities of the shift
k. To observe, understand and solve problems and / or to report to concerned department / person about the problem to get it resolved.
l. To check all the parameters of the machines and to adjust according to the need of the article and as per standard.
m. To co ordinate with the maintenance department by providing information/ feedback for any abnormality or breakdown to get it resolved.
n. To obey and respect the instructions of the superiors.
Our client is a multinational company, a leading player which activates in the textile field and produces and sells premium denim fabrics.
- Bachelor degree in textile industry, preferably chemistry;
- Working experience of at least 2-3 years in a textile processing plant is an added advantage;
- Knowledge of English language.
The work place is in Giurgiu, so this job requires relocation in Giurgiu. Our client ensures a relocation package.
