Adecco Professional Placement is looking for its client, a multinational company in automotive sector, for a Transactional Buyer with German language.
Principal duties
- Handles within agreed timeframes transactional Shopping Cart across all procurement commodites.
- Provides user support and customer service to stakeholders
Runs Bidding process (if supplier is not selected by stakeholder)
• Analyze requisitions
• Search for potential suppliers according to commodity driven supplier list
• Run the simplified bidding process and select the supplier accordingly;
• Complete Freetext Requests/Orders.
Identifies repetitive buys as candidate for catalogues and shares other sourcing ideas with Commodity Buyer.
• Monitors recurring tranzactiona spend to reduce the total amount of it
• Directs shopping carts to frame contracts & catalogues where available
• Contacts e-catalogue enabler to include item in an appropriate catalogue, if an item is recurring;
• Notifies user that item is now available in catalogue
- Bachelors's degree or equivalent business experience
- Nice to have Transactional & tactical procurement experience
- Very good communication skills in German
- Diligent – ensure deadlines are met and priorities are balanced accordingly
- Ability to handle multiple priorities within established timeframe
- Demonstrated affinity with commercial issues
- Analytical, numerate

- Proven ability to work on own initiative
- Computer literate
- Ability to follow procedures and sequential processes
