User Engagement Strategy:
- Be focused on Product Design
- Understand what our users are doing and why - analytics, competitive analysis and support the research team
- Be responsible for creating, improving and extending designs for Avira's next generation products
- Brainstorm, research, wireframe, design and refine user experiences - all within specified product requirements and deadlines
- Develop and perform usability sessions with key stakeholders and customers to get feedback
- Propose improvement suggestions based on own research and gathered feedback
- Work closely with front-end and product managers to create simple, easy-to-use web products
- Provide multiple types of deliverables, including wireframes, workflow diagrams, interactive demos and final mockups
- Deeply understand, contribute to, and if necessary challenge the requirements and business goals of projects you work on
- Be entrepreneurial, self-driven, have excellent creativity and user focus
- Be extremely detail-oriented and also able to see the big pictures
- Have previous experience working with designing mobile and web applications
- Possess solid knowledge about user-centric design principles and have the ability to distill highly-complex user design issues into clean and understandable solutions
- Have a good understanding of web development tools and techniques
- Be a good communicator and have a "can do", problem solving attitude
- Communicate well in English
- Have a positive attitude towards new ideas and suggestions; are willing to collaborate with various stakeholders, including other internal design teams
- Be able to show a comprehensive portofolio of recent UI and UX projects
