As member of the Protection QA team you will significantly contribute to improve the quality of our detections. This means to guarantee the compatibility between our Avira products and 3rd party software by providing an everyday updated QA system. You are curious to keep up with an always growing amount of data by independently finding ways to automate tasks in order to work more efficient day by day.
Performance objectives:
After the successful completion of your training, you will be part of an international team whose objective is to keep the quality of our detections on a constant high level. You will fulfill that requirement by working closely together with the members of the Avira virus labs.
You will find ways to gather and process huge amounts of data fully automatically; you will learn to analyze the data and keep the performance of the QA system on a high level. You will follow that kind of agile process in agreement with the beneficiary of the QA system.
You will research how certain 3rd party software vendors update their software in order to keep track of the changes - fully automatically and in real-time.
You will fulfill all accrued tasks with the highest possible carefulness; it is your obligation to provide our huge user base perfect detection without any mistakes.
You will document and exchange your knowledge with other team members in order to keep everybody up to date.
You have a high level of self-motivation in completing tasks very thorough – the detail matters in the QA. Even though the work may sometimes follow recurring patterns, you will lose neither motivation nor concentration and always have an eye for detail. Furthermore, you will work independently, conscientiously and recognize problems already in advance and have the ability to make the right decisions even when working under pressure.
