Job scope:
- The Voice Communication Administrator is responsible for the development/maintenance of Metro Group network PABX and specific services in order to ensure their efficiency
Main responsibilities:
- Assures for Metro Group Romania and Moldavia VoIP and standards voice services
- Diagnose and solve problems with CISCO IP Telephony infrastructure
- Diagnose and solve problems with analog PBX infrastructure, Siemens HiPath and HiCom
- Diagnose and solve telecommunications-related hardware and application problems
- Administer and monitor the main infrastructure components at various business units
- Identify, solve and report voice/network issues.
Education:
- IT Degree or students in the final years of study University Degree
Professional experience:
- At least 1 years experience on a similar position
Abilities & Competencies:
- Good knowledge in network communications, network architectures, TCP/IP suite protocols;
- Good knowledge of VoIP (H323, MGCP and SIP protocols), LAN, WAN, firewalls and routing
- Good communication skills, ability to work with teams from different locations
- IT certifications from Cisco/Microsoft represent an advantage
- Experience in telecommunications (wireless & network operators)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems;
- Proactive, goal orientated, problem solving skills
- English language - medium level
