Resolution of third line incidents that have been escalated through the Service Desk and/or Operations. Technical Support will also participate in serious incident/problem management teams as required
Ensure that technologies operate at optimal efficiency. To achieve this Technical Support implements a series of scheduled procedures according to good practice recommended by vendors and relating to the infrastructure and technologies on which the services exist
Provisioning of new services and technologies through service introduction projects
Management and maintenance of Asset Management and Configuration Management systems, including maintenance of relationships between Configuration Items
Provide remote support for all servers and systems
Work with vendors and third-party service providers to identify and resolve incidents
Maintain and update support system data and service information - including knowledge bases
Mandatory:
English - successful applicants require excellent written and spoken English skills
IBM Websphere Application Server (support and deployment for critical business applications)
Experience of triage and troubleshooting in large, complex web-based environments
ITIL incident management and use of ticketing systems
Hardware, Virtualisation
Basic TCP/IP networking troubleshooting
