Quality Manager

Job description:

- Manage the QMS, working with other members of the management team to establish and maintain customer quality standards and expectations;
- Promote awareness of QMS and customer quality standards at all levels.
- Act as the principal liaison with the customer base, in order to identify and resolve customer inquiries;
- Identify, contain and correct customer quality issues in conjunction with operational management;
- Review and analyse customer quality data in order to trend, measure and correct customer quality concerns in conjunction with operational management;
- Provide regular feedback through various feedback mechanisms i.e. daily, weekly and monthly reviews, in order to highlight opportunities for improvement and/or corrective action;
- Ensures boundary samples are agreed, set and maintained with the customer;
- Ensures safe operating procedures are adhered to at all times within department;
- Establish departmental goals, objectives and KPIs - provide coaching and guidance as needed.

Required experience and necessary knowledge:

- A Technical Bachelor´s degree is mandatory ;
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in steel structure or other related fields ;
- Minimum 5 years in Quality field ;
- Knowledge of Quality planning and Control Plan standard, FMEA´s, PPAP´s, Dimensional layouts, gage/fixture design and Performance/Material testing ;
- Specific education and training in Quality disciplines including (minimum) ;
- People development and leadership experience is required ;
- Ability to speak English, French (is an advantage).
