One of the most important Construction companies in Ontario, Canada is looking for 3 operators of fine graders with GPS control for building roads. The company has a long-term contract (+3 years) to build a road in northern Ontario. The suitable candidate must have experience to work these machines, operate them under very tight specs and understand the severe consequences to the company if these tolerances are not met.
The suitable candidate will have to speak English at an intermediate level.
-Operate heavy equipment, Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks, Operate computer controlled equipment, Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, Secure special attachments to equipment, Perform minor repairs to equipment.
-Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications, Calculate weight, distance, volume and length measurements
24$/hour at the start of the assignment – 8 hours/day plus overtime rate (36$/hour). Lots of overtime can be expected during the summer months.
