Java Discipline Lead - Cluj-Napoca

Job Description:
•Take part in evaluations and reviews of programming methods, tools and standards
•Lead team members and individually contribute to the development using your expertise in Java, MySQL.
•Hands-on coding, debugging, testing across all aspects of the software
•Provide guidance and assistance to colleagues in any aspect of program design, creation, testing and documentation
•Develop deep expertise in multiple modules of the product
•Provide technical leadership; guide and develop other team members
•Actively collaborate with other architects and technical leaders
•Perform design reviews and code reviews
•Advocate and enforce Agile/Scrum best practices
Skill set (required)
•Experienced in a software development environment based on Spring Frameworks, Spring Security, REST/Spring MVC, JSON/Jackson, JPA/Hibernate
•Knowledge of: Git, Maven, Jira, Linux, Tomcat
•Know-How in open source technologies
•Good analytical/technical background and knowledge of software development methodologies
•Good client communication skills
•Knowledgeable in technologies as required by Business Unit
•Ability to learn quickly and stay current with new technologies
•Team leadership experience
•Strong team player with excellent written and verbal skills
•Demonstrated ability to communicate openly with other team members
•Demonstrated ability to work on simple to highly complex tasks within established timelines
•Very good verbal & written English communication skills
•Self-motivated, passionate about software, and driven to achieve committed milestones
•Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment with a broad scope of responsibilities

•Experienced with bmpn/Activity framework, business rules/Drools
•Knowledge of Bamboo/Stash
