RESPONSABILITATI

· Investigating and fixing problems that have been escalated from 2nd line support
· On-call support
· Discussing problem resolution with client and internal managers
· Analysing and making changes to infrastructure to improve performance
· Ensuringthe correct set-up of monitoring systems
· Maintaining and improving support information and documentation
· Mentoring junior technical staff
· Occasional involvement in installation projects (including travel to other countries)

We are looking for intelligent people,who have previously worked in senior technical roles within an IT-focussed company which has complex server and application infrastructures, critically important to the business.
The successful applicants will be able to work calmly under pressure, be quick to learn and have a ‘can do’ attitude; they want to be the top problem solverswithin their company, but also are comfortable talking to non-IT colleagues.
Mandatory skills
· Microsoft Active Directory
· Sharepoint experience
· Understanding of fault-tolerant design
· Proficiency in English
Desirable skills
· Microsoft Exchange
· Citrix experience
· Microsoft SQL Server
· SAN storage integration
· Understanding of TCP/IP networking
· Experience of virtualisation
