Job description:
Confirms production plan based on capacity, material availability and stock levels;
Releases production orders to shop floor;
Daily follow up and update of production plan according to production attainment, capacity and material availability;
Follow up Customer orders based on production plan;
Releases Purchase Orders to suppliers for raw materials according to production requirements;
Monitors Purchase Order on time delivery and instruct Logistic coordinator for express deliveries;
Is responsible for:
Implementing, monitoring, measuring and reporting production schedules;
Assuring that matched sets of materials and capacities are available to cover production plan requirements;
Releasing purchase orders to suppliers in order to assure material availability;
Monitoring on time delivery for purchase orders;
Interface for communication with customers and suppliers.
Requirements:
Thorough understanding of Production Planning and Supply Chain Management;
Extensive experience in a Production Planning / Materials Management role within Manufacturing Environment;
Able to work in a matrix organization with project management approach;
Microsoft Office skills: advanced experience of Microsoft Excel is essential;
Experience with SAP (MM and PP modules);
Organizational skills;
Advanced analytical skills and problem-solving;
Effective communication skills (orally and in writing)
English fluent speaker;
Italian language is an advantage;
