• Support Data and Analytics specialists in the development of a smart factory system.
• Integrating required data sources, systems and devices based on current web-technologies and machine-to-machine communication protocols.
• Designing and developing complex data processing pipelines, including ETL and data ingestion systems dealing with unstructured and semi-structured data.
• Integration and processing of data and event streams from our sensor and RFID solutions.
• Management of gateways based on Raspberry Pi / Linux / OSGi.
• Develop and provide visualization of data and analytics results.
• Master in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science.
• 1-5 year experience in IT jobs (Software Development, data warehousing or similar).
• Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, SOAP/REST, web sockets).
• Sound knowledge of object oriented programming and testing in Java (incl. JUnit) and functional programming in script languages like Python.
• Applied knowledge in ETL Tooling, Software development environments (esp. Eclipse).
• Good to have - First experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem, KNIME, No SQL databases, MongoDB), RDMBS (Oracle, SQL Server, etc), OSGi.
• Operating systems: Windows, Linux
• Strong analytical ability and problem analysis techniques.
• Self-responsible way of working.
• Enjoy working in an international team.
• Advanced English (German and other language skills are an advantage).
