Brief job description:
The Quality Control Linguist/Translator will be responsible for maintaining the quality standards and reliability of the translations made in the company.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the company standards are effectively implemented
- Ensure adequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of noncompliance
- Monitoring translations quality
- Constantly preparing quality reports
- Motivate the team to achieve goals
- Generate ideas and take actions for quality improvement
Absolute Requirements:
- Good level of English
- Native/Excellent level of French, German or Spanish
- Having worked as a professional translator before (using pre-translations from a translation memory and using a terminology tool)
- Know some translation tools (at least 2)
Ideally
- Review work
- Post-editing work on machine translation output
- Know how a quality matrix works
