• Accept tasks from departments and check tasks for plausibility and feasibility based upon technical regulations and documentation
• Discuss discrepancies with the responsible department and suggest/discuss further actions.
• Plan required test methods based on the technical regulations for a broad variety of standard and also special specimens
• Ensure test execution in regards to availability of required equipment and schedule. Testing includes mechanical, electrical physical and chemical testing methods
• Set up test equipment for testing (e.g. change adaptors, load programs, enter parameters) and execute the test based upon technical regulations
• Check test results for plausibility and compare them with given specifications. Check the specimen for deviations (cracks, signs of misuse, completeness, etc.)
• Execute typical maintenance tasks (e.g. change coolant, replace probes) based on the maintenance plan
• Planning, execution and plausibility checks require knowledge and expertise which is generally acquired in a technical education of at least 3 years duration, e.g. Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience of at least 1 year in work using scientific methods; experience in Electronics, as education subject or work experience would be an asset
• Educational background in Chemistry, Physics or Material Sciences would be an asset
• Experience in Automotive Industry and / or in working in Quality would represent an asset
• Planning, coordination and optimization abilities, organizational skills
• Language skills – English at fluent level, writen and spoken. German language skills would be an asset.
