Responsibilities:
4th line support - Investigating and fixing problems escalated from 3rd line support
Involvement in architecture and project definition
Installation and configuration (including travel to other countries)
On-call support
Attending problem meetings with clients and internal managers
Capacity management
Monitoring and performance improvements
Maintaining and improving support information and documentation
Training junior technical staff

The successful applicants will be highly technical, good team works and able to work calmly under pressure, be quick to learn and have a positive approach; they will need to be one of the top technical problem solvers within their company, as well as being good at expressing their ideas to management, customers, and other technical people.
We are looking for people with at least 4 years’ experience in similar roles though are willing to make exceptions for exceptionally skilled candidates.
Mandatory skills:
The successful candidate will already be in a role where they locate and then resolve deep technical problems, in as many as possible of the following technologies:
Mandatory (minimum 2 of the following):
Excellent Windows Server System Administration skills
Active Directory administration
Auto-build systems
VMware Vsphere 4/5 Professional
Storage (Fibrechannel SAN and enterprise storage arrays)
Desirable:
Basic Lotus Domino Server
Netapp Storage arrays
Microsoft Exchange
Citrix XenApp Server
Microsoft SQL Server
Sharepoint Portal
Desirable training:
MS Certifications (MCTS, MCITP, MCSE) in field of System Administration
VMware Certification (VCP)
