Participation in the newly formed start-up "Smart Personal Mobility", developing solutions for people with restricted mobility.
Development of embedded software components for a new electrical mobility device with exciting drive functions
SW requirements analysis, effort estimations, module design, implementation, module and integration tests, debugging;
Development of software design and programming/coding of custom software components using Matlab/Simulink/Embedded Coder following a model based software development approach;
Software design and code reviews;
Documentation of software components;
Software module testing and software integration testing;
Creation of test planning, and responsibility for test case generation and test execution in cooperation with the test team;
Following standard software development process with focus on quality assurance
Active participation and responsibility in each phase of the projects from start to production;
Close cooperation with international development partners;
Close cooperation with different domains (HW engineers, Mechanical Engineers, System engineers, Test engineers, etc.);
- University degree in computer science, automation, electronics and telecommunications, informatics, mathematics or comparable;
- Experience with embedded software development preferably in the field of electric vehicle with the C programming language;
- Deep knowledge of model based SW development using Matlab/Simulink/Embedded Coder;
- Very good technical understanding and overview of embedded systems;
- Familiarity with tools for software project management and software version management;
- Experience with requirements engineering and specific tools (e.g. Doors, etc.);
- Experience with vehicle communication (preferably CAN bus);
- Experience with real-time applications and embedded systems;
- Initiative and creativity, persuasion and assertiveness;
- Self-employed and responsible way of working;
- Very well structured, efficient and accurate working style

- English advanced (German skills are an advantage);
- Availability for training in Germany for several months;
