What will your job be about?
• Sourcing of multiple Indirect Spend categories
• Conducting Opportunity analysis for spend management
• Rating and managing performance of suppliers, ensure supplier performance of all contracts
• Negotiating and concluding contracts
• Ensuring that the services are as per the contracts
• Dealing with suppliers globally (esp. EMEA countries)
• Making the strategy and negotiating actively with suppliers
• Scouting for better suppliers
• Liaising with the customers to understand their requirements and close them in the given time frame
• Performing basic spend analytics in order to identify best available market price for the ongoing project
What are we looking for?
• Previous experience of at least 1 year in Tactical/Strategic negotiations
• Familiarity with one ERP or e-Procurement tool
• Excellent negotiation skills & Contract management skills
• Strong team player
• Should be excellent in Excel in addition to having good working knowledge of MS Word and Power Point
• European sourcing experience relevant to at least one major country (Germany, France, etc.)
• Good category knowledge for at least one commodity (e.g. IT products & Services, Marketing, Corporate Services, Facilities, Lab supplies, Technical investment)
• Good Analytical / Commercial Skills, Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent communication skills will be required as the person will have to communicate with suppliers all over the world
• Language requirement: advanced English and second language French or Spanish
• Coordination & prioritization skills
