Accenture is looking for an energetic, highly motivated technical writer to contribute to current and future branch specific projects.
Job description:
The Technical Writer will be responsible for taking technical information and rewriting it in a way that can be easily utilized for proposals, customer responses or understood by end users. Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers. Collaborate with experts, solutions architect and technical teams to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be created for proposal development. Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format and content required to meet critical milestones for proposal development. Interview experts, engineering personnel and review material to become familiar with product technologies and/or services required for proposal development.
* The Technical Writer should have excellent research, writing and communication skills.
* Possess understanding of information design, information architecture, training material development, management, user interfaces and business analysis.
* The Technical Writer is responsible for understanding basic technical concepts and conveying that information and advanced level information from the engineers into a working format for end users.
* Ability to work according to a defined schedule and manage the proposal preparation process, including the ability to understand and analyse the details of an RFP or other technical documents.
* Experience with application programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
* A bachelor's degree in English, Communication, or Computer Science, Engineering is considered an advantage.
* Good communication skills required to gather information from different areas of the company.
* The Technical Writer will be considered an expert in English language and grammar, German is considered an advantage.
* Self-starter attitude with proven results-oriented focus.
* Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
