Wondler is an innovative language learning platform inspired by the challenges faced on a daily basis by the cross-border recruitment sector. Most Western-European economies struggle to find skilled laborers of all sorts and increasingly look over their borders to strengthen their workforce. The biggest challenge they face is the language barrier. Although in most cases they don’t expect a high level of language skills from their workers, they do require minimal conversational skills and excellent knowledge of job terminology. The Wondler platform provides exactly that.
Our staff have international work experience and speak and write excellent English. Applications from candidates with teaching experience, relevant language skills and a Master’s degree will be prioritized.
Responsibilities:
- As a Course Builder, you will be in charge of creating the courses based on the input provided by our Project Development Manager and the feedback given from our learners;
- The aim of this platform is to support students learning the language used in the workplace. The main focus of the courses will be specific vocabulary and dialogues related to specific professions. This means that you will be in charge of doing research and gathering information on each profession and choosing the most suited exercises (grammar, vocabulary, spelling, terminology) to efficiently customize each course for the given profession;
- You will develop schematics of courses and lessons plans;
- Feedback from students is a vital component and you will be required to handle pilot courses, receive and interpret feedback and implement it in existing courses. All courses will be constructed in English.
Education:
Either Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Languages (English language) or the equivalent in teaching. Specialized in language learning.
Cambridge diploma and other such documents are accepted.
Skills and required experience:
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. Other experience similar to teaching such as research will be considered.

- Structured and able to work independently;
- Self-motivated;
- A talent, or a great appetite, for teaching;
- Higher education;
- A genuine interest in language, learning and changing people’s lives;
- Skilled at managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines;
- Ability to organize and manage time efficiently;
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
