For our client, a multinational company producer of heavy electrotechnical equipment we recruit a Chief Financial Officer , based in Craiova.
The Head of Finance will oversee all finance, accounting , forecasting, budgeting , treasury , tax and corporate insurance functions. It will direct all financial activities and advice & assist the CEO in meeting and or exceeding the overall financial and strategic objectives of the company.
Responsibilities :
- provide leadership in development and the continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial objectives
- provide timely and accurate analyses of budgets, financial trends and forecasts
- direct and oversee all aspects of Financial & Accounting functions of the organization
- evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning , introduction of new strategies and regulatory actions
- establish and maintain strong relationships with the top management and shareholders so as to identify the company needs and seek of full range of business solutions
- provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
- ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
- resolve queries of statutory auditor for various audits
- degree in accounting required ; MBA in Economics highly desirable
- a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and planing and at least 3 years at a senior manager or director level
- fluent in English
- strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff
- high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
- PC proficiency and proficiency with Excel or other accounting software are essential
