The Production Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of production operations in accordance with legislation and internal quality standards and processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• To be responsible for all manufacturing processes throughout the business
• Second line support and troubleshooting of production breakdown issues
• Establish continuous improvement programs through analysis of KPI (key performance indicators) data
• To advise on new manufacturing techniques and prepare payback justifications for new capital expenditure
• To analyse performance and liaise with Quality to investigate trends and recommend process improvements
• Daily problem solving and manage >50 people.
• The creation & control of production machine programs and processes
• The creation & control of manufacturing documentation
• Degree qualified is preferred (but not essential)
• Experience iin a Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer capacity
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn new skills
• Good English
