In this challenging role you will be responsible for developing site specific safety policies, procedures and programs in alignment with corporate and Power Generation Business Unit programs. You will report directly to the HSE Leader in Craiova.
Develop and devise implementation plans for health & safety training
• Identify and develop control plans for hazards which exist at the site
• Interact with regulatory agencies as required to maintain compliance with all applicable standards
• Recordkeeping
• Support Corporate initiatives and interface with Corporate entities on health and safety matters
• Interface with Corporate Legal, Safety, Medical, Disability, Work Comp, Risk Management & Security groups
• Oversee site worker’s injury case management and restricted duty program; interface with medical providers
• Develop and communicate site emergency preparedness plans
• Develop and communicate emergency response and contingency activities
• Provide leadership for the site emergency response team
• Develop and implement continuous improvement plans
• Support site H&S committees and deliver H&S training
• Ensure cost-effective management of budgets, contracts & projects
• Establish audit processes to determine program effectiveness
• Provide data analysis, database maintenance, and other health & safety metrics for the site
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in safety or related management/engineering field
Certified Safety Inspector
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Fluency in Romanian and English
• Experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of Manufacturing processes
• Good Communication skills
• Strong PC and Database skills
