leoHR, search & selection division is looking for its client, a reputable multinational company,
SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER – Craiova
Responsibilities:
- carrying out component APQP co-ordination for program launching
- carrying out component APQP activities for your nominated suppliers, including identifying and escalating roadblocks within the program teams and ISC as required
- identifying improvement opportunities with the key suppliers and working with leadership of the Company and the Suppliers to develop appropriate actions to improve the supplier processes;
- agreeing KPI's for development activities & working with the Suppliers to drive the improvement activities and complete them in a timely manner;
-regular targeted communication with plant QM and Regional Leads on supplier activity status.
The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for quality related activities for purchased parts within the production phase, in particular for the supplier complaint management and to update the supplier evaluation list. At the transition stage between product development phase and serial production, the SQ works very closely together with the local QM.
Requirements:
- Degree in technical university
- 3-5 years working experience in quality function
- Preferably experience as SQE in automotive industry
- Knowledge of QM system
- Detailed knowledge in ISO TS 16949, QS 9000, VDA standards
- Knowledge of quality methods such as APQP, PPAP, IMDS, 8D, 5 Why, 6-Sigma, FMEA, Pareto etc.
- Strong knowledge of computer based applications, especially MS Excel
- Good communicator and team player, able to communicate across diverse cultures and languages
- Language skills: fluent English, additional skills in German is an advantage
- Problem solving skills
- Able to travel
