We are a consulting company continuously seeking candidates to our clients within the Oil & Gas Subsea industry. We are frequently receiving requests from our clients and therefore we are predicting soon to be short on excellent skilled HR Consultants with a minimum of 5 years experience from the oil and gas industry.
RESPONSIBILITY (included but not limited to):
• Typical HR related tasks include recruitment, interviewing and hiring, compensation and benefits, performance management, sick leave, HR administration (incl. In- and expatriation)
AUTHORITY (included but not limited to):
• Follow company procedures, guidelines and ethics policies including local labour laws and regulations or as directed by HR Manager
• Employee is expected to use a degree of autonomy as related to job, creativity and initiative to succeed in this position.
• Employee is expected to build relationships across the organisation to provide a high degree of service
• Promote company culture and values
MAIN TASKS (included but not limited to):
• Actively support HR Manager in all HR work
• Coordinate and carry out recruitment, hire and termination processes for assigned units
• Do evaluation of compensation and benefits, and ensure that compensation and benefits are according to company policy
• Ability to coordinate & interact with other HR representatives within organisation
• Process and follow up on sick leave
• Participate in staff meetings within HR and assigned group
• Good understanding of Hay Grade system (or similar system)
• Review departments and discuss discrepancies or change requests with HR Manager
• Guide line managers & supervisors in HR company procedures & policies, processes and guidelines
• Handling of personnel issues such as leave of absences, payroll discrepancies, company health service, performance reviews & management (incl. action plans)
• All other HR generalist work tasks or as assigned by HR Manager
RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE AND FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• BSc degree or high school degree and equivalent experience
• 5 - 8 years experience in HR or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience from the oil and gas industry
• High degree of integrity & ability to handle confidential information
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and cultural tolerance
• Good language skills in Norwegian and proficiency in English.
• Strong service-mindedness
• Problem solving skills and solution orientation
• Ability to adjust to change quickly
• Proactive & takes initiative
WORKING AREA:
At our clients' sites in Norway (could be Kongsberg, Oslo, Kristiansand, the West Coast etc.), possibility other places around the world and, hopefully, at future clients in Denmark.
