Senior Legal Advisor

Main tasks and duties:
Supporting processes of obtaining: Intergovernmental agreements
agreements between Company and governments/ministries/governmental authorities/regulators,
authorizations and permits necessary for the realisation of the project

Supporting process of structuring the commercial framework of the project and developing the re-lated contractual documentation, which requires in-depth understanding of commercial, regulatory and technical project issues
Providing legal advice on project issues in relation to: Application of EU and host country Energy and regulatory law involving topics such as third party access and unbundling exemptions
Application of host country energy and project development law
Joint venture and company law issues
Environmental impact and land acquisition issues
Contracts and procurement issues, including development of EPC and project financing con-tracts

Coordinate work of external lawyers, managing the flow of information and documents

Main requirements:
Bachelor or Masters level of legal education
Qualified/admitted as a lawyer in an EU jurisdiction
Work experience with common law, civil law and EU regulations; principles of international law; con-tract law and drafting skills
Several years of experience from previous pipeline, oil & gas, and/or trans-border infrastructure projects
Experience in working in multinational environment, ideally in South East Europe
Exposure and ability to operate effectively in a multicultural environment
Proficient in spoken and written English, excellent Italian
Excellent communication, social and interpersonal skills
Excellent prioritization, planning and organization skills
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and be part of something that is not always well defined – we are blazing new trails and that means there is not always a roadmap to follow
Willing to travel on a regular basis
