• "From-scratch" design consistent with our brand framework, particularly for landing pages and emails, PowerPoint presentations, and other "on-screen" assets. Occasional print design work including posters, promotional materials for events, etc.
• Routine production of assets based on existing templates or other schematics (wireframes, etc.), including all of the above as well as marketing collateral including white papers, data sheets, etc. Such projects are likely to include illustration (diagrams, etc.) and basic image manipulation (primarily of stock photography).
• Collaboration with an experienced team of producers, editors, and program managers and other operational responsibilities consistent with position scope (weekly meetings, status reports, etc.).
The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of and familiarity with contemporary and traditional design approaches as well as the ability to effectively apply this knowledge in the marketing context. Experience with basic video (encoding, publishing, conformance, etc.) and 3d workflows is a strong plus.
• Adobe Creative Suite Design & Web Power User: team workflows depend heavily on Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Experience with additional applications in the Creative Suite is nice to have.
• Microsoft Office Skilled User: understanding of the limitations of various versions of Office, good grasp of PowerPoint basic and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of server environments and protocols (SMB, FTP), directory structures, and HTML syntax (HTML5, CSS2/3, XHTML, XML).
