For our Berlin office we are currently looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.
Your Role
Our platform deals with huge amounts of data and billions of requests. We work closely with DevOps, Product Managers, and frontend and backend engineers to deliver new features and make sure our systems can easily handle high traffic.
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer you take on QA responsibility in one of our teams. You test new features comprehensively and take an active role in automation of functional tests to ensure flawless working product.
- Gain an excellent understanding of our products from a functional and technical point of view
- Work together with other QA engineers, developers and product owner
- Plan and execute tests for new features and perform regression tests in a comprehensive way
- Work to automate integration and system tests
- Analyze issues and bugs reported by internal or external users of our platform
Your Skills
- 4+ years of working experience in quality assurance for web applications
- You have experience in developing automated black box tests for web applications, you are familiar with white grey/white box testing as well
- You are familiar with working in an Agile SDLC
- You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, you are a quick learner
- You show persistence and determination to ensure a very high level of quality in your work
- Git, Selenium, SQL and UNIX are no strangers to you
- Coding experience in Ruby or the development of small web applications is a big plus as well as experience with performance testing
