As a Content Editor in Grapefruit you will manage, publish and maintain editorial and multimedia content for various websites, as well as assist clients in performing similar operations using content management systems.
You will assess and build content inventories for new websites, organize raw content received from clients and publish/maintain it using content management tools as well as perform HTML formatting.
You will perform basic photo processing (involving cropping and color adjustment).
You will provide support to client representatives in charge of content management.
• Knowledge of HTML and basic CSS is required, as well as using Adobe Photoshop for simple photo processing tasks. Basic adobe Flash and SEO knowledge is a nice to have, but not required.
• You should be skilled in copyediting and proofreading. Experience in using at least a content management system is a big plus.
• Prior experience in content editing, DTP or similar activities is a plus.
• You should have at least a working knowledge of English (reading/writing).
• Your ability to work well in a team environment along with a desire to permanently learn new subjects are granting you success. Good personal communication skills, thoroughness and self-organization abilities are required.
