The successful candidate should IT centric Project minded analyst able to demonstrate a Basic Technical understanding across Windows, Citrix/ VMware and networking. Ability to use Visio and understand MS project is a must. This is not a hands on technical job day-day but the ability to assist with problems and troubleshooting end-end with the passion to see the issue through to resolution is KEY.
The role is office based with some projects and implementations requiring out of hours and weekend support so the candidate must live in Iasi and willing to travel if required. Working in a small IT team across EMEA and with global resources to deliver infrastructure implementations for Xerox Services HR Outsourcing.
Job Responsibilities
• Gathering of architecture requirements and analysis for designing IT solution
• Implement IT infrastructure solutions that are compliant with IT technical and architectural standards and IT Policies and Procedures
• Develop solutions technically or operationally aligned with long-term IT strategies and plans
• Creates detailed technical documentation of IT solutions to ensure successful implementations and reference for ongoing support.
• Ensure that all Infrastructure issues relative to project delays or client concerns are resolved on a timely basis or escalated to upper management.
• Act as SME between ITO and Application / Business units
• 3+ years of overall IT / technical services experience
• Excellent understanding of IT systems infrastructure and best practices.
• Project management experience in an infrastructure oriented environment
• Leadership and Customer facing skills is a plus
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communications is essential for the role
• Basic understanding of the following technology areas:
o Systems and Networking (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
o Storage (SAN)
o Virtualization
o Web Technology (Web Servers, Application Servers, Load Balancers)
o Security technology and processes
o Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning
o High Availability
