The Infrastructure Engineer is primarily responsible with OS-side operations, Networking, Storage configurations (such as, but not limited to operating system installation, applying patches, configuring various components, performance issues analysis), deployment and maintenance of Nagios-based monitoring system, clusters and similar environments configuration.
Experience in the *NIX field, preferably RHEL and its clones, Solaris/SunOS, AIX, etc;
Familiar with Server hardware, network elements configurations (IP Switches, FW) and storage systems;
Good understanding of clustering, client/server architectures and high availability;
Knowledge of *NIX scripts languages;
Nagios-related (or other monitoring tool) knowledge is a plus;
Knowledge of Oracle, MS-SQL or MySql - not required but an advantage;
Attention to detail, able to take constructive criticism;
Good communication skills, Team player, with a positive attitude.
