The role
We are looking for a Management Support Associate to join our team. The candidate will be a self-starter, driven, independent thinker with commitment to quality and continuous improvement and results orientated.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Strategic:
Provides operational, financial and business related analyses and research to management. May perform one or more of the following:
• Provides support to management to ensure that resources are provided to make effective decisions
• Collect and compile relevant data supporting the formulation of department policy, goals and
procedures
• Monitor and coordinate the daily/weekly operation of assigned projects; perform administrative detail work and maintain appropriate records and statistics
• Maintain confidential records and files
• Prepares analyses on financial and business performance
• Assists in the development of business policies, conducts special financial and business related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.
• Tracks monthly/weekly project activity and reports on developments
• All other duties as assigned.
Administrative:
• Schedule various meetings
• Prepare agendas for the meetings
• Review and edit reports for the meetings
• Prepare packages for internal meetings
• Attend meetings, record minutes and submit minutes for approval
• Create presentations and various documents
• Format documents and apply branding
Secretarial:
• Arrange travel and accommodation
• Complete travel authorisation requests
• Book meeting rooms
• Complete expenses forms
• Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office – particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel; creative ability to produce charts, graphs and tables to include in documents – good understanding of formatting documents
• Fluency in English
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning financial and internal files
• Requires strong computer and Internet research skills
• Calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff
• Effective written communications skills
• Computer skills including the ability to operate spreadsheet and word processing programs
