Oversees our payroll services vendor
* Engages in contractual discussions with our payroll subcontractors for existing deals
* Supports sales in the solution development on future deals
* Provides guidance to HR and payroll teams with regards to general payroll knowledge
* Is a payroll process and procedure SME
* Acts as a main focal point for our payroll teams to
* Oversees payroll process and timekeeping according to policies and procedures
* Oversees the maintenance of earnings and deductions records.
* Oversees and ensures the generation of the company payroll, including vacation and sick leave, accrual,
* Oversees and meets all government reporting requirements for payroll taxes, withholding and employer contributions.
* Oversees the preparation and filing of required reports and/or payments to government agencies, employees and other organizations.
* Serves as liaison with other departments in the resolution of payroll issues.
* Constantly recommends and implements or oversees the implementation of changes in methods and procedures to improve the efficiency of the payroll function
* Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
* Acts as advisor/trainer the team to improve level of knowledge, to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
* Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
* Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.
* German / UK State/EMEA Income tax and Social Security regulations knowledge preferred
* SAP Payroll experience
* Communicates in English language with customer, vendor & team
* Additional language skills ¬ eg. German - are an advantage
* Masters degree with at least 6 years payroll experience
* Has managed external vendors successfully
* Good negotiation skills
* Management-level payroll processing experience.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills
* Process improvement skills
