The role: Pricing and Transaction Services Analyst
Purpose of the role: responsible for pricing and shaping financial models of new business opportunities
Transaction Skills:
The candidate must possess experience and proficiency in the following:
• Model a pricing structure that exploits a Price-To-Win strategy and balances the value proposition of the client with the business requirements of ACS
• Identify cost elements required in a given solution and gather the appropriate cost assumptions required
• Assess the operational viability and integrity of cost assumptions and communicate gaps
• Build a representative and integrated income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement and economic analysis of a new business opportunity
• Identify and communicate the commercial and operational risks and success factors in a given transaction
• Create appropriate sensitivity analysis based upon the above factors
General & Management Skills:
In addition, the candidate will be expected to demonstrate the following:
• Exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills in English
• Work effectively with Line of Business executives in operations, finance and sales
• Contribute to the new business policies, processes and procedures practiced by the Pricing group
• Model several new business opportunities at a time
• Manage deliverable expectations and requirements with participating Deal Teams
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Experience and Education:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• 2 years in an operational based corporate finance role, private equity firm or Big four type organization
• Some experience leading financial projects and teams
• Working knowledge of all phase of the deal cycle including due diligence, deal generation, RFP response and proposals, negotiations and contract closing
• Finance or Accounting degree
• MBA, CPA or CFA is preferred
