The role
We are looking for a Proposal Writing Assistant (Solutions Support) to join our team. The candidate will be a self-starter, driven, independent thinker with commitment to quality and continuous improvement and results orientated.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Tender delivery
• Work with consultants and business leaders in managing tender process, timelines and information
• Provide support on pitch approach and positioning
• Drafting tenders, including formatting, final production and design
• Support creation of sales presentations for pitches, as directed
• Schedule qualification reviews and pitch rehearsals
End to end campaign development and management
• Support business leaders to develop and deliver marketing campaigns, such as thought leadership, seminars, other client events, mailings, support materials and communication plans
Publications
• Working with business to develop topical industry content
• Implement and produce print and electronic external newsletters
• Ensure that newsletters are produced in a timely and efficient manner
Management and coordination of external industry conferences/events
• Develop, update and produce corporate literature and publications in conjunction with external/internal designers
• Design event flyers and invitations when required
Other responsibilities:
• Comply with the Corporate Policies and Procedures (CPPs)
• Assist and support colleagues when required to achieve marketing targets and deadlines
• Compliance and with and support in brand guidance to the business
• Responsible for attending weekly sales meetings
• Accurate and complete time entry
• Assist with team managed events such as corporate hospitality and press conferences
• Peer review colleagues’ work and ensure own work is peer reviewed
• Above all, the jobholder must have a ‘can do’ attitude, be enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Computer proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat X Pro are a plus but not required.
• Ability to structure and write clear and easy to read tender materials for client and prospect opportunities following tender specifications presented and guidance from pitch leader
• Maintain and effectively use a database of past tender responses which can be efficiently accessed to obtain template responses for future tenders
• Maintain a client and prospect database to enable efficient issue of marketing and information communications to relevant clients and prospects
• The ability to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure and to manage multiple deadlines
