You will be playing a key role in the development of several exciting website projects. You will also be maintaining several client websites and online applications. The ideal candidate has experience in developing applications in an object-oriented manner, using variants of Zend/Code Igniter/Laravel framework.

Requirements:
- 2 years experience with PHP development
- Strong HTML skills. Must be able to understand the interaction between the DOM, the application UI, and server-side APIs
- 2 years of SQL development on MySQL and/or Postgres including schema design, functions, complex queries and query optimization
- Knowledge of front-end programming, specifically with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 as used in consumer facing web applications
- At home with Git and Linux shell
- Flexibility and the ability to recognize that there is more than one way to accomplish a given task and that different people learn in different ways
What it would be awfully nice to have:
- A computer science degree or diploma is a plus, but not required
- Experience writing custom one-off PHP solutions
- Experience building applications with a PHP Framework
- Working knowledge of C, C++, Java, ASP.NET, C# or other OO language.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- An active Github account
- Links to your open source contributions
