Responsibilities
Develop business with existing and new Retail Customers and other Key Accounts in conjunction with our client's Route To Market partners, with main focus on Belgium/Luxembourg and France.
Develop and execute effective growth strategies and gain sustainable competitive advantage for our client's products and brands.
Work in partnership with local Customers, as well as the Central Marketing, Insights & Innovation Teams to develop compelling, customer oriented solutions in terms of product, pricing and promotional initiatives.
Cultivate new business opportunities in the region through a proactive and dynamic approach to business development.
Conduct local market studies to identify and quantify growth opportunities, and proactively drive strategies to maximise these.
Play an active role in optimising commercial and operational processes in conjunction with Customers and our client's Teams. Drive continuous improvement in delivering first class customer service.
Develop annual commercial budgets in line with the business needs and area objectives. Deliver and monitor actual against budgeted metrics and update periodic forecasts as required.
Ensure preparation of regular management reports and continuously strive to improve the business in the region.
Requirements
Extensive experience in dealing with retailers, distributors and agents in Belgium and/or France.
Highly motivated with excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Strong track record in business development, prospecting and closing sales at senior level.
High level of integrity, passion, self-motivation and analytical skills. Flexible attitude and willingness to travel.
Highly literate in terms of financial P&L, value chain and numerical analysis and reporting.
Business or Marketing Bachelor or Masters Degree is a distinct advantage.
Preferably Food / FMCG background.
Languages: Fluency in Flemish/Dutch, French, English.
