Main Duties:
Participates in food production, portions meats, fish, vegetables and desserts and utilizes food surpluses to control food costs
Ensures daily food preparations meet outlined recipes including portion size, quantity and quality
Performs routine and complex kitchen tasks to achieve agreed standards
Maintain food quality control. Ensures proper food rotation, which will eliminate spoilage and waste
Maintains a clean and efficient kitchen section and ensures maximum utilization of food
Communicates with and assists back-of-the-house personnel to maintain efficient food production
Comply with all statutory and company health and safety, fire, bomb and security regulations
Hotel or restaurant background
Good understanding of food, hygiene and safety
Good level of English
Knowledge of other cooking techniques and styles
Flexibility to respond to client needs
Good interpersonal skills
Well presented
Full time contract ( 40 hours/ week)
Salary : 9 EUR/ hr
