The Operational Procurement group will be part of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department and responsible for all the company’s day-to-day procurement activities. The group will consist of 5-7 employees and contractors. Position Overview and Responsibilities
Vendor contact and management
Commercial negotiations
Issuing and evaluating RFQ’s on behalf of internal clients
“Fast Tendering” for frame agreements
WorkMate master data and contract maintenance
Commitment reporting and authority
WorkMate procurement super-user
The successful candidate shall have:
A background within procurement or a relevant bachelor degree, and/or
Experience as offshore materials man or equivalent;
2-5 years’ experience within the oil and gas industry
Solid experience in Excel data management and analysis
Procurement experience in WorkMate will be an advantage
Highest standard of business ethics and conduct.
The candidate must:
Have above average communication skills in English both written and orally
Enjoy working in a shared office atmosphere
Work in a high pace
Have the ability to complete tasks independently
Show initiative and ability to “self-start”
