Experience in transport planning area minimum 2 years;
Knowledge of geography in all European countries and transport legislation;
Able to work understress and with clear targets;
Numeracy skills and ability to interpret data;
Good knowledge of English language;
Driving license - B category is a must;
Computer skills (MS Office, MS Outlook etc.);
Perseverant, organized and able to establish priorities;
Written and oral communication skills, logical thinking, proactive and with initiative;
Good problem solving and analytical skills – finding the solutions;
Negotiation skills;
Ability to work as part of a team;
Job description:
Feasibility check on received planning and give feedback to load planner if necessary
Directing and monitoring the drivers
Motivating drivers to carry out their job as correct, conscientious and efficient as possible
Guarding the balance between efficiency and workload
Monitoring driving routes and refueling points
Monitor driving and rest periods, holiday planning and training/medical check of drivers
Extra focus on lane- or customer-specific requirements
Adding security parkings to the trip
Follow-up on physical check of equipment by driver
Process holiday requests of drivers together with HR/fleet
Escalation of deviations, both to Load Planner, Customer Service and Fleet
Logging of loading- and unloading-actions of trips
