The TSS Engineer is responsible for offer preparation and sales support activities related to the company strategic vertical markets (Public Sector, Transport, Energy &Utilities). A dedicated sales force focuses on selling end-to-end integrated solutions, from our portfolio along with integrated third party products and/or services. This sales force is supported by a dedicated TSS team which is responsible for providing technical support during pre-sales phase. Not limited to, such support consists in supporting the development of customer presentations, technical discussions and consultancy during pre-tender phase as well as developing solution architecture, solutions customization, identify and elaborate related project cost figures during offer preparation stage.
In this role, the primary responsibilities include
• Lead and contribute to the preparation of the technical proposal, having sole responsibility for technical proposal preparation to best meet customer expectations regarding compliancy to project technical requirements, scope of work and proposed solution.
• Contribute to the overall project preparation strategy by supporting the identification of the most suitable solutions and potential partners that best serve the project requirements
• Leads and contributes to the complete and correct identification of project requirements
• Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers that are addressed for solution development and proposal preparation
• Coordinate with other entities that are providing support during proposal preparation (Legal, Finance, Contract Management, Technical departments)
• Supports company management decisions in identifying the winning strategy by providing an assessment of technical and project deployment risks
• Supports sales force with presentations, clarifications and during negotiations with the customer, until contract signature.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Technical degree with considerable experience in pre-sales
• Experience with complex integrated systems, security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Radars, Thermal Cameras, etc) is a must
• Ability to manage complex, ambiguous and sometimes conflicting requirements and under time pressure
• Capability to deliver adequate results meeting critical deadlines
• Advanced usage of MS Office tools
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
