The job holder will be based in Ploiest plant
• Responsible for creating, communicating and executing the MPS for the specific operations line and all the activities of the Production planners.
• Responsible for the OTTR and past due metric for the specific operations line.
• Responsible to review demand plan and order board and adjust SIOP and MPS accordingly.
• Leader of the Clear to build weekly meeting.
• Direct communications link between the plant and the customer service group to manage the demand plan and order variations, and recovery and commitment plans for customers.
• Updates and communicates any changes to the MPS.
• Key participant on the daily production meetings.
• Maintains the line rough cut capacity review and action plans to meet operations line SIOP targets.
• Establishes and communicates lead times by product to customer service, commercial team and intraco.
• Identifies and manages all the independent demand for components and spare sales.
• Responsible to define FG inventory levels.
• Responsible to meet the AOP and SIOP inventory targets for FG’s and WIP and establish Safety stock strategies to meet both OTTR and Inventory targets.
• Responsible to lead and develop phase in and phase out plans to meet NPI and customer SOP launch dates.
• Monitors NPI status and communicates launch risk and develops actions plans to mitigate impact to customer and budget
• Key participant on the NPI launch teams.
• Participates on the Monthly demand management, SIOP and customer business meetings.
• Creates, validates and communicates the Pre-SIOP by product family.
• Manages the SIOP metrics for the specific operations line (Revenue, Operations, PD, OTTR, Shipment, Inventory and Purchase parts)
• Develop standardize processes, individual goals, development and training plans for the production planners
• Rewards and recognize individual and team performance and Manages the HPD process for their direct reports.
• Responsible for approving vacations, over time, short permits, and yearly appraisals
• Experience on developing capacity models
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP and Supply chain management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CPIM or CPM certification desired
• Possess excellent organizational ability, effective negotiation skills and interacts effectively with internal and external parties.
• Key user on SAP for MM and PP modules
• Motivates and influences others, promoting self-learning and continuous improvement
• Well organized to manage multiple competing priorities in parallel.
• Fluent in English. Other languages a plus
• Minimum of 3years successful, proven track record within production planning and master production scheduling functions.
• Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering/ Business Administration or related. Masters Degree preferred
• Automotive industry experience preferred
• Six Sigma lean/Green-belt (minimum) or Black Belt /Lean expert (preferred).
