The post holder will be able to:
• Understands company policy, set targets (KPI) based on the policy and develop measures to achieve targets in their area of responsibility.
• Ensures all company policies, rules and procedures are followed, observed and applied;
• Ensures manufacturing processes adhere to Quality standards, regulatory and EHS requirements
• Ensures that standard operation practices are implemented and that proper tools and methods are in place in order to achieve the production targets.
• Carry out Safety patrol in order to identify unsafe condition and take action in order to improve/eliminate the identified nonconformities.
• Attend Safety and Sanitation committee and propose solution to safety and sanitation issues. Communicate decisions taken, implement and monitor progress on action decided in the Safety and Sanitation Committee. Summarize Safety and Sanitation activity result monthly and report to management.
• Conduct monthly analyzes of the Production Line load based on the next 3 months production plan forecast and available installed capacity and develop plans for identified capacity issues.
• Conduct monthly analyzes of the production plan for the next month and develops manning plan with supervisor. Reports to management if insufficient or excessive manning is found.
• Supports the development of the manufacturing budget and manage expense based on the approved budget.
• Ensure proper utilization of existing equipments, assets and goods in order to eliminate waste and to reduce expenses. Monthly report the budget execution in the “C Meeting report”.
• Constantly work on reducing manufacturing managed raw and auxiliary materials stock and consumption;
• Responsible for identifying and eliminating the 8 waste in manufacturing area (waiting, motion, transporting, over production, correction/rework, over processing, inventory, people underutilization)
• Keep under control the W.I.P ensuring that it is clearly identify (what, where, how much, min max stock, FIFO)
• University Degree in a technical area with 2-3 years production experience, at least, and 1-2 years experience of managing people.
• Experience in automotive industry represents an advantage – knowledge of Kaizen systems, process improvement tools etc.
• Proven leadership capabilities in the areas of developing and managing performance for results.
• Very good computer knowledge – Microsoft Office package
• English language – medium/advanced level
• Excellent attention to details and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Team work oriented and ability to prioritize activities
• Ability to lead meetings and dealing with conflicts
• Ability of short and long term planning
• Knowledge of Quality system Documentation: procedures, work instructions, supporting documentation
