On behalf of our client, an international organisation we are looking for
Unix Administrator
to join the Delivery Centre in Wroclaw, Poland
Key responsibilities:
- Install and support the server operating system, system management software and operating system utilities
- Manage, monitor and maintain the operating system
- Manage file systems and print queues
- Manage System ID???s and domain structure
- Evaluate planned changes to the server environment and advise of any requirements to support such changes
- Provide system health check and trending reports (e.g. CPU, RAM, HDD)
Key skills:
- Good command of French required
- At least 12 months AIX or HP Unix or Solaris or Linux experience
- Performance monitoring & analysis
- Network interfaces
- Backup and Recovery strategies
- Use of problem and change management tools
- Server installation and server configuration
- HACMP configuration and administration
Other Skills/Abilities:
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Problem Determination & analysis skills
- Customer and service orientation
- Ability to operate well in an international environment
